Ruiji Aiba: Strange

Focusing on “Strange” as a keyword, this new exhibition from Ruiji Aiba will add to the artist’s popular series of goldfish works by presenting pieces that take on the form of glass vessels.

Each vessel combines a motif on the lid and one on the other side of the semi-transparent glass, creating a single object with two alternating faces. The combination of glass’s clarity with the artist’s innate playful nature results in novel expressions that visitors are sure to enjoy.
