Illusion – Reality
The divergence and resonance of these two coexist at the root of Emi Katsuta’s work. Despite her signature use of colors and forms that are bright and unique, there is an expression of loneliness that gives striking contrast to those elements. This contrast creates a space in which the viewer’s imagination is free to interpret the work.
