Ishihara’ research is focused on the theme of co-existence between people with different values and involves production of paintings and collaborations with other artists. Through her practice, she aims to visualize the overlapping, unconscious filters that exist when humans confront landscapes or other people.

2017 Received Master’s Degree at Art and Culture at Graduate School of Tohoku University of Art and Design.
2015 Graduated from the Nihonga Course at Tohoku University of Art and Design, School of Fine arts.
25th Recipient of the Sato International Cultural Scholarship, 2nd term participant in the Kamiyama Foundation’s Art Support Program.
